Mixing the bangles, with the studs, or the links with the chains-- I like the way the girls on Cobrasnake did that here. Oh, and don't forget that SKULL ring in last pic. I love the way she only wore ONE ring so her hands aren't not OVERDONE. It's in the girls' bracelets that make the combos all look so effortlessly and brilliantly crafted.

There's is absolutely everything to love about stylist, artist, musician-- Pamela Love.

I never really understood those "esoteric" designers who never want to be seen in public, want their pic in a magazine, or submit to interviews. I mean, publicity is how you get your label out their in the first place.

Everyone wants their own privacy, that is understandable. On the other hand, Pamela Love, along with her infamous last name, exudes a magnificient presence in the media and makes herself known to her fans. LOVE 101.

That's all the reasons more to love Pamela--because her identity as a downtown stylephile goes hand-in-hand with her distinction as a jewelry making--whose DESIGNS are in fact, TO DIE FOR!!!!

What is this "trend..." why am I seeing these young faces doing rampant amount of nude spreads. I mean, I am not against it, but not necessarily for it either. It's kind of kitschy (not "Errrotic" enough to be deemed pornography but exposed enough); trashy (when the focus of a fashion spread should be the fashion); and overrated (younger audiences who obsess over exposed breasts).

I don't really have a problem here. It's simple and classic, but not unrefined where her body language seems crass. Compared to alot of other full-on nude model pictures, Aygyness looks natural and decent.

How incredibly stunning are these leather crafted hot rods. Each of them are brilliantly designed by KING Alexander Wang from the Spring 2009 Collection.

I know the girls out there love him AND of course, the chic, grunge, boho aesthetic of his label--and as fan myself, my heart is beating like I just fell in love all over again. They are a every closet's DREAM.

Here, the look is a matter of proportions. I love this look on the girl because the girl is so tiny but her jacket could probably fit one or two more.

A genious man when it comes to perfecting this "puffer" look. Despite being entirely puffed up, the model does not look an inch fatter (but really, I wouldn't know!)

This is a sweater by Adrienne Vittadini (some obscure Italian designer) and it's my favorite WINTER sweater. I would never trade it for one of those arts and craftsy knitted ones.

It is a vibrant red (redder than the bottom's of Jimmy Choo's pumps) and it has an amazing screen print on it. What's better is its poncho style that unlike a poncho, doesn't get you in the way of doing things. It even has a sleeve.

I love the symmetry (half-armed poncho) which reminds me of rei kawabuko's vision for Commes des garcon that lopisidedness is beautiful! What do you think? Like it or not?

Trend: The Needle Heel

Who knew a thin--an extremely thin heel--about .3456 inches in diameter, could act as a shoe heel. Is it sturdy? I'm curious to know too! What about balance? Not only is the heel narrow but it is fairly high. How can you walk properly on a small point on the back of the shoe?

The genious aspect is in the heel's structure with a flat circle placed at the end of the tip. I guess questioning is one thing, but we leave our guesses to the demystifying nature of fashion.

I personally love this look. It's so avant-garde and original, some of the few things I look for in my accessories. What do you guys think?

Everything is new except the vintage Levi's 501s which I got from UO on sale.

I'm wearing a tank by Theory, llsli blazer from "the back room" (loehmanns), INC wedges, layers of vintage gold chains, and my beloved Miu Miu slouch bag. It was such a nice day to wear white and holey jeans.

Recently I've been sporting my favorite Miu Miu bag from the Spring 2008 collection... so it's not the latest "must-have" bag of the season, but it's functional for all the reasons why I love it. You can attach the straps on the inside to have the maximum size of the bag which is extremely large. I also went to my shoe repair store so they could add D-rings on the side of the bag so that when worn, the bag will fold over nicely just like the signature look Foley + Corinna.

Here are my amazing drop crotch pants by Wood Wood. I just got from Creatures of Comfort in the mail yesterday! Have you seen a pair of denim drop crotchsies? These are the first pair I've come across and I'm glad I got my hands on them! They were on sale too!

I'm also wearing a vintage suede vest that you can't see well due to poor lighting :/, a mink fur vest, the infamous knuckle ring by Robert Lee Morris (originally sported by Mary-Kate), Nine West shoes, and Chanel earrings.

I absolutely adore this vintage black belt handed down to me by my mom from the 80s. It's unique because there are two silver buckles which are connected by two black straps that wrap around twice.

I'm not really good with hobbies.

a. rock collection that I started on the beach- FAIL

b. sticker collection of over 3 filled books- FAIL

c. opera singer- FAIL due to lack of passion

d. amateur photographer- same as C.

one thing all of these have in common, other than the obvious failed attempts, is that they were all silly hobbies of my past. sorry if i offended anyone.

right now, I love fashion. props to all the fashion blogs out there.

point is, i actually believe that i can sustain this blog because fashion is like my child. i want to foster it in my closet and let it grow into something beautiful when i give it the love on my body.

so i'm not saying that this is "IT"- that this is the one hobby that will last... because who knows? if it's not me, the blog itself might retreat into fashion oblivion and that remains in the hands of the readers. anyway, whatever happens, i'm really to be challenged and amazed.
